Our team designs and builds material handling systems that help customers optimize operations and scale efficiently. We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, development, and execution of material handling and conveyor system solutions. About the Role As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and improving automated conveyor and material handling systems. You'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to bring concepts to life — from CAD modeling and BOM creation to supporting production and troubleshooting in the field. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical or industrial engineering background who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants exposure to the full product development lifecycle. What You'll Be Doing Design and develop conveyor and material handling equipment using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software Create engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for manufacturing and proposals Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for production and cost estimates Support new product development (NPD) from concept through implementation Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing for mechanical components Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, production, suppliers, and internal teams to troubleshoot and improve designs Provide technical support for new products and field installations as needed Assist in creating manuals, testing procedures, and engineering documentation What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 0-5 years of engineering experience (entry-level candidates with internships/projects encouraged to apply) Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D AutoCAD Understanding of manufacturing, mechanical systems, and engineering fundamentals Familiarity with conveyors, warehouse automation, or material handling systems is a plus Basic knowledge of electrical controls and automation systems preferred Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to be hands-on in both office and production environments Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment #RTS6548
