Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes for assigned product lines. This role includes CNC programming, process optimization, tooling and fixture design, and troubleshooting within a machining environment. You will collaborate closely with design engineering, quality, and production teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing processes in line with design specifications. Create CNC code, simulate tool paths, and program multi-axis equipment (5+ axis). Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gages. Maintain BOMs, labor standards, and manufacturing methods in the ERP system. Support process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and Lean manufacturing efforts. Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support on the floor. Mentor and guide junior engineers and support supplier development when needed. Analyze manufacturing variances and contribute to corrective actions.Qualifications:
5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Proficient in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred) and 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD Inventor or similar). Experience with Vericut, GD&T, and fixture/tooling design. Skilled in reading complex blueprints and implementing process changes. Strong understanding of multi-axis machining, with hands-on experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC equipment (5+ axis). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and statistical analysis techniques.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (not required).Benefits:
