Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative SolidWorks Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and system designs that drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your expertise will help translate complex concepts into precise, manufacturable designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects across various industries, utilizing your technical prowess and creative problem-solving skills. Duties Develop detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and functionality for manufacturing and construction purposes Create comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and system design documentation in accordance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to refine designs and resolve technical challenges Create Complex Sheet and Plastic components using Solidworks Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design, assembly modeling, and drafting Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise manufacturing specifications Experience with Bluebeam for markup and document management; familiarity with NavisWorks for project coordination Working knowledge of Revit, MicroStation, Autodesk Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER for multi-platform design integration Understanding of ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance in all design outputs Mechanical engineering fundamentals combined with practical experience in system design and schematics development Skilled in AutoCAD for detailed 2D drafting; capable of creating complex layouts and assembly drawings Familiarity with FEA tools to analyze mechanical components under various load conditions Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents effectively Excellent technical writing skills to produce clear documentation and reports Join us as a SolidWorks Designer to bring innovative ideas to life through precise engineering design!
