Precision Medical is seeking a Sustaining Engineer who maintains and improves existing products, ensuring manufacturing efficiency, product reliability and regulatory compliance.
The Sustaining Engineer will:
- Optimize existing products for cost, performance, ergonomics and manufacturability.
- Diagnose product failures from production or field feedback and implement corrective actions.
- Process engineering change notices (ECNs) to update drawings, CAD models and bills of materials.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in creating engineering change notices (ECNs) and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of machining practices.
- Basic knowledge of packaging design.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or other related disciplines). 3+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing or maintenance.Physical Demands:
