Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to drive production excellence by programming and optimizing complex 5-axis machining processes. You will leverage your technical expertise in Mazatrol and Mastercam to transform intricate engineering designs into high-quality, precision components that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Develop and refine CNC programs for 5-axis milling and turning centers to maximize throughput and precision. Execute comprehensive machine setups and guide parts through the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure production readiness. Provide technical leadership to the machining team, fostering a culture of accuracy and operational efficiency. Analyze and troubleshoot machining performance, adjusting tool paths and parameters to maintain tight tolerances and superior surface finishes. Interpret complex blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements to ensure total compliance with specifications. Manage workflow across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime during production runs. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC programming and machine setup. Advanced proficiency in both Mazatrol and Mastercam software environments. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong background in operating and troubleshooting multi-axis Mazak equipment. Proven track record of mentoring technical staff and improving shop floor performance. Preferred Skills Experience working with diverse materials including titanium, stainless steel, and high-performance plastics. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for design support. Strong grasp of statistical process control and advanced quality inspection methodologies. Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
