About the Role As a Senior CNC Programming Specialist, you will drive manufacturing excellence by developing complex 5-axis programs and overseeing the production lifecycle of high-precision components. You will leverage your technical expertise in advanced machining to ensure that every part meets rigorous quality standards while optimizing shop floor efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and refine intricate CNC programs using Mazatrol and Mastercam to maximize production throughput. Execute full machine setups and manage the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure seamless production transitions. Provide technical leadership to the machining team, fostering a culture of precision and operational reliability. Analyze blueprints and geometric specifications to determine the most efficient machining strategies and tooling applications. Monitor and adjust machining parameters to maintain strict tolerances and superior surface finishes across diverse materials. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and programming issues to minimize downtime and maintain consistent delivery schedules. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC programming and machine setup. Advanced proficiency in Mazatrol and Mastercam software. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements. Proven track record of independently managing machine setups and production runs. Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on precision metalwork and quality control. Preferred Skills Experience mentoring or leading junior machining staff in a high-volume environment. Familiarity with multi-axis lathes and Swiss-style machining technologies. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for design support. Deep understanding of statistical process control and advanced machining mathematics.
