Design Engineer

T.RAD North America, Inc. seeks Design Engineer.

Job Duties:

Reviewing customer source control and specification drawings to determine requirements or feasibility of the component; Designing, developing and improving new and existing products; Performing sizing/performance, stress, and pressure drop and flow analyses; Preparing design proposals, including drawings and bills of materials; Establishing, communicating, and verifying design validation requirements; Participating in assembly and testing of engineering prototypes; Presenting to new and existing customers; Proposing cost reduction activities; Collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality operations; Conducting engineering and general design reviews; Interacting with customers and suppliers on engineering design; Coordinating with the Product Team; and adhering to the ISO 14001Environmental System, the Safety Management System, and the

IATF 16949

Management System. Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Requires 1 year of experience in the job offered or in design engineering.

Requires experience with:

Modeling system components; Validating product design; Determining component requirements; and Conducting FEA.

Salary:

$69,014 to $72,321.60/Year. Under 10% domestic travel to client sites required. Telecommuting permitted in urgent circumstances with prior approval.
