This role requires a creative problem-solver with demonstrable experience in time management, organizing tasks for a common goal, and ensuring deliverables by a deadline in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate cross-functionally to manage metal manufacturing projects from sample development through full production. Provide regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders. Advise clients on manufacturing best practices, including methods, materials, and finishing options. Communicate technical information, deviations, and factory requests to the sales team for client follow-up. Partner with Quality Engineer on non-conforming parts and corrective action documentation. Review new projects for technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness. Work with Quality Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer on in-process and incoming inspections. Collaborate with Quality and Supplier Quality Engineer on vendor quality performance Escalate at-risk projects and engage COO/CEO as needed for support and resolution. Ensure customer prints are complete and accurate, including tolerances, specifications, revisions, and material callouts. Identify prints requiring client revisions or formal sign-off. Review vendor inspection reports in collaboration with Quality Engineer for accuracy Oversee day-to-day vendor management and performance. Partner with the Sourcing team on vendor selection, ensuring capabilities align with Review vendor RFQs for technical accuracy. Participate in factory tours and vendor audits with the Sourcing team. Perform project kickoff meetings with clients and vendors. Circulate appropriate kickoff forms. Review vendor quotes for technical accuracy and respond to technical questions during the quoting process. Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO and COO.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
