Duration:
12 months Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Design & Automation Engineers to support enterprise network operations for our client. This role is focused on network design and automation activities, with primary alignment to software lifecycle management using OpenText Network Automation (NA), formerly known as HP Network Automation (HPNA). The selected resources will support large-scale enterprise network environments, contributing to the design, standardization, and execution of network configuration changes and software upgrades across critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise network configurations, standards, and templates Leverage OpenText Network Automation (NA) to: Deploy standardized configuration changes Execute software (SW) updates and patch management across network devices Plan and support maintenance activities, including: Coordinating scheduled maintenance windows Executing device reloads/reboots required for upgrades Ensure compliance with enterprise network standards, security policies, and operational procedures Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable, repeatable automation solutions Support production network environments with a focus on reliability, auditability, and minimal disruption Required Qualifications Strong expertise in enterprise network design (mandatory) Proven experience with routing, switching, and network architecture in large-scale environments Ability to support scheduled maintenance windows, including off-hours work Strong understanding of change management processes in controlled enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with OpenText Network Automation (NA) / HPNA or similar network automation and configuration management tools Familiarity with regulated or highly controlled environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, or large manufacturing enterprises) Exposure to network compliance, auditing, and standardized configuration frameworks Work Schedule & Shift Requirements Combination of standard business hours and significant off-shift support Resources must be available for permanent second-shift coverage Regular participation in planned maintenance windows, including evenings and weekends
