May 18 Sep 14, 2026 Must Have Skills 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment within controls and automation Ability to self-direct, take initiative, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HMI development tools (FactoryTalk View Studio, Wonderware), and PLC programming (ControlLogix preferred) Familiarity with IT/networking and database applications Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Understanding of instrumentation and measurement systems for process control Strong verbal and written communication skills Understanding of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes Experience with industrial networks and safety standards preferred Experience working with: 480/277VAC 3-phase systems 208/120VAC 3-phase systems 24VDC, 4-20mA, 0-5V, and 0-10V control circuits Knowledge of
OSHA 1910, NFPA
70, 70E, and 79 safety standards and machine design specifications Ability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial control software and networking platforms including: DeviceNet ControlNet Remote
I/O DH+ DH485
Ethernet/IP HTML/XML, Python/Java, and SQL programming experience is a plus Job Description The PC&IS Engineer will be responsible for development and innovation in electrical design, programming, and digitization of automated, robotic, and information systems within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and support Industrial Control Systems (ICS), PLCs, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) Lead manufacturing line controls and machine automation initiatives Drive process improvements related to material utilization, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction Support automation, robotics, instrumentation, and vision systems Troubleshoot industrial control systems, networking platforms, and automation software Work with power systems, computing technologies, and industrial networks Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry best practices Collaborate across engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing operations Provide leadership and technical guidance within automation and controls projects Preferred Background Experience with robotics, vision systems, and industrial networking Knowledge of machine control systems and instrumentation Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
