Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Piping Designer for a hybrid role in Cincinnati, OH. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects that are central to our clients' businesses, including cutting-edge industrial and pharmaceutical facilities. You will be responsible for managing the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks. As you become familiar with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and progress measurement, you will lead projects with multi-office execution and promptly communicate any scope and design changes. You will collaborate with a highly interactive, multi-discipline team, review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor other professionals, nurturing their growth and guiding them forward. Location Cincinnati, OH, known for its rich history, vibrant arts scene, and strong economy, offers a dynamic environment for both personal and professional growth. Responsibilities Manage schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks. Lead projects with multi-office execution, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule. Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Review vendor drawings and execute piping engineering design. Develop design estimates. Mentor other professionals within the team.
Qualifications Required:
Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree. At least 15 years of piping design experience. Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as Hexagon Smartplant S3D and Autodesk Plant 3D.
Preferred:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Forward-thinking and eager to learn best practices. Ability to contribute innovative ideas. Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in various teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
