Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Role Overview BEPC is seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Engineer to support a high-profile defense program with our customer in Phoenix, Arizona. This position plays a critical role in coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of complex aerospace initiatives supporting the U.S. Army's Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) Program for the AGT1500 turboshaft engine, the powerplant of the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

The ideal candidate is a motivated engineering professional with strong project management capabilities, technical expertise, and a proven ability to lead projects in a fast-paced aerospace or defense environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through completion. Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members. Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and executive updates. Collaborate with U.S. Government customers, technical representatives, product managers, and military leadership. Partner with engineering specialists, field service engineers, and support teams to achieve program objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational excellence. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or a related engineering role. Proven experience successfully delivering complex engineering projects on schedule and within budget. Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Experience managing project risks and resolving technical or operational challenges. Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and reporting systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Technical expertise within an engineering discipline. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, defense, military, or government program experience. Experience supporting engine systems, propulsion programs, or sustainment initiatives. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) programs and stakeholders. PMP or related project management certification.
