  • Role Overvi ewBEPC is seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Engineer to support a high-profile defense program with our customer in Phoenix, Arizona.
This position plays a critical role in coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of complex aerospace initiatives supporting the U.S. Army's Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) Program for the AGT1500 turboshaft engine, the powerplant of the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tan k.

The ideal candidate is a motivated engineering professional with strong project management capabilities, technical expertise, and a proven ability to lead projects in a fast-paced aerospace or defense environmen t. Key Responsibilit iesLead and manage engineering projects from initiation through completi on.

Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholde rs.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource pla ns.

Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure project succe ss.

Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standar ds.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issu es.

Provide technical guidance and support to project team membe rs.

Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and executive updat es.

Collaborate with U.S. Government customers, technical representatives, product managers, and military leadersh ip.

Partner with engineering specialists, field service engineers, and support teams to achieve program objectiv es.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational excellen ce. Required Qualificat ionsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipl ine.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or a related engineering r ole.

Proven experience successfully delivering complex engineering projects on schedule and within bud get.

Strong leadership, organizational, and project management ski lls.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilit ies.

Experience managing project risks and resolving technical or operational challen ges.

Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and reporting syst ems.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environm ent.

Technical expertise within an engineering discipl ine. Preferred Qualifica tionsAerospace, defense, military, or government program experi ence.

Experience supporting engine systems, propulsion programs, or sustainment initiat ives.

Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) programs and stakehol ders.

PMP or related project management certifica tion.
