Roadway Design Engineer - Entry-Level Waggoner - 3.8 Baton Rouge, LA Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Referral program Qualifications Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Productivity software Full Job Description Description Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana. Your Primary Responsibilities will include Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation. Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects. Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage. Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project. Prepares engineering studies and reports. Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required. Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred Engineering analysis in 2D and 3D.
