Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our expanding Roadway/Highway design team in Kansas City at our Overland Park office. The ideal candidate for this role will be an EIT with experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects. Our Roadway/Highway Design team is involved in a wide variety of street, roadway, highway and multi-modal transportation design projects for local public agencies and state DOT's. Conduct analyses and perform standard computations, drawings, and visual aids for projects. May coordinate work with entry-level engineers, technicians, or other staff. Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct field inspections to gather relevant data and contribute to site assessments. Utilize design software and tools for drafting and modeling. Support the development of cost estimates for projects. Perform quality control self-checks of assigned work. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications for this role:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET accredited civil engineering program.
