Consulting Fee, Equity, or Hybrid Structure About SinterNova SinterNova is developing a novel advanced manufacturing platform focused on recovering and remanufacturing degraded PA12 powder generated by industrial Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) systems. The company is currently preparing for
NSF SBIR
Phase I and prototype development. We are seeking an experienced technical advisor to help guide the development and validation of our technology platform. Responsibilities Review technical architecture and development plans Identify technical risks and failure modes Advise on polymer processing and material behavior Review experimental design and validation strategy Provide guidance on prototype development and scale-up considerations Participate in periodic technical review meetings Preferred Background Experience in one or more of the following: Polymer processing Polyamide (PA12, PA11, Nylon) materials Polymer rheology Powder technologies Additive manufacturing materials Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Thermal analysis (DSC) Molecular weight characterization (GPC) Industrial manufacturing systems Advanced materials R D Qualifications 10+ years of relevant industry, academic, or research experience Experience bringing technologies from concept through commercialization preferred Strong technical communication skills Prior SBIR/STTR, university research, or federally funded R D experience is a plus Why Join Us Help shape a potentially transformative manufacturing technology Support sustainability and circular manufacturing initiatives Work directly with the founder and engineering team Flexible advisory engagement structure
