Position Overview GTI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for complex engineering and advanced manufacturing roles. This individual will operate as a strategic talent advisor to engineering leadership, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Piping Engineering, Automation Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and New Product Introduction (NPI) talent. This role requires deep technical sourcing capability, advanced Boolean expertise, patent and publication mining, talent mapping, and high-touch candidate engagement strategies. The Senior Technical Recruiter will manage executive-level offer negotiations and provide data-driven market insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and specialized engineering roles across mechanical, electrical, structural, piping, automation, and NPI disciplines Partner with Engineering Directors and functional leaders to define role scope, technical requirements, and success criteria Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, complex Boolean strings, X-ray search techniques, and competitive company mapping Source talent through patents, technical publications, conference proceedings, and professional engineering associations Build multi-quarter talent maps identifying competitor organizations, target candidates, and emerging skill clusters Develop passive candidate pipelines across advanced manufacturing, AEC, industrial automation, and energy systems industries Conduct high-level technical screening conversations to assess design experience, systems exposure, and manufacturing alignment Partner with compensation and leadership teams to structure complex offer packages including base salary, bonus, 401(k) match, relocation, and performance incentives Provide compensation benchmarking insights for engineering markets in Phoenix, Buffalo, and national talent hubs Lead offer negotiations with senior-level engineers and engineering managers Build CRM campaigns and long-term engagement strategies for niche engineering talent pools Deliver market intelligence reports on competitor hiring trends, compensation shifts, and skill demand evolution Optimize ATS workflows and recruitment analytics to improve hiring velocity and quality of hire Support workforce planning initiatives and long-range engineering hiring strategies Required Qualifications 7+ years of technical recruiting experience focused on engineering and manufacturing roles Proven experience recruiting Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Automation Engineers, or Advanced Manufacturing Engineers Advanced expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search construction, and talent mapping methodologies Experience sourcing through patents, research publications, and technical conferences Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex, multi-component compensation packages Strong understanding of engineering design processes, NPI environments, and manufacturing operations Experience recruiting within manufacturing, industrial automation, AEC, or energy sectors Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret labor market data Ability to operate independently and influence senior leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting for modular systems, BESS, GenSet, data centers, or heavy fabrication environments Deep research or competitive intelligence background Experience supporting international talent pipelines Experience working in high-growth or scaling manufacturing organizations
