This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on impactful transportation projects while developing the technical and professional skills needed for a successful engineering career. Work on meaningful transportation projects for DOTs and local agencies Receive mentorship from experienced engineers and project managers invested in your growth Gain exposure to all phases of project development, from planning and design through construction Enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule Build your technical expertise while developing client-facing and project management skills Join a USA Today Top Workplace known for its collaborative culture and commitment to employee development What You'll Do Assist with the planning and design of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects Develop roadway geometry, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates Support drainage, utility, and transportation design efforts Prepare technical reports and project documentation Participate in field visits and construction observations Collaborate with project teams, clients, and public agencies Attend client and public meetings and gain exposure to project delivery processes What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree (or upcoming graduation) in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 0-2+ years of transportation engineering experience, including internships or co-ops Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or similar design software is a plus Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred If you're looking for more than just a job and want a place where you can learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on the communities around you, we'd love to connect. Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $84,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
