Job Description

Design, optimize, and support additive manufacturing processes including 3D printing, scanning, and digital fabrication technologies. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience focused on additive manufacturing Experience designing and creating 3D models using CAD software Experience operating and maintaining 3D printers and 3D scanning equipment Experience with metallic and non-metallic materials including polymer matrix composites, alloys, and structural bonding Experience conducting dimensional verification and quality control activities Experience developing and optimizing additive manufacturing and digital fabrication processes Preferred Skills SolidWorks experience Experience with Dassault design tools AS9100 experience Experience supporting capital equipment selection and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies Job Responsibilities Design and develop 3D models for additive manufacturing and tooling applications Operate and maintain additive manufacturing and scanning equipment Perform dimensional inspection and quality control verification of manufactured components Develop, document, and optimize additive manufacturing processes Evaluate materials and fabrication methods for performance and manufacturability Support capital equipment evaluation, acquisition, and implementation Implement process improvements related to additive manufacturing and digital fabrication
Pay:
