Rate:
$60-$65/hour Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC programming experience to support advanced machining operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role involves developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs across a variety of machine platforms and technologies. Key Responsibilities Generate and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM or similar software Program 3, 4, and 5-axis machines , including VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, and EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole) Work with machine controls such as Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc Validate and simulate CNC programs using Vericut prior to shop floor release Utilize advanced machining techniques including: Macro/subroutine programming Renishaw probing routines Variable-based programming Closed Loop Machining (CLM) Provide CNC programming support and troubleshooting assistance to shop floor operations Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and train operators/programmers as needed Apply strong problem-solving skills and shop math (geometry, trigonometry) Machine high-temperature superalloys used in aerospace or heavy-duty gas turbine applications Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with CNC programming and multi-axis machining Proficiency in NX-CAM or similar CAM software Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Okuma) Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Experience Experience in aerospace or heavy industrial manufacturing Familiarity with high-temperature superalloy machining Prior experience with Vericut simulation software Additional Information Onsite role in Greenville, SC Opportunity to work on advanced machining technologies and complex components Collaborative and team-oriented work environment
