Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the manufacturing process for advanced products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules Collaborate with design engineering teams to optimize product manufacturability and ensure smooth transition from design to production Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures, including process flow, work instructions, and quality control measures Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges in the manufacturing process, working closely with crossfunctional teams to implement effective solutions Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality Provide technical guidance and support to production teams, ensuring proper training and adherence to manufacturing processes and standards Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize material flow and inventory management, ensuring timely availability of components and materials for productionYOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering Proven experience in optimizing manufacturing processes 5-axis milling Turning Profile/surface Grinding Wire EDM SinkerEDM WE VALUE
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSimilar remote jobs
