Benefits:

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations in a newly expanded manufacturing environment focused on Power Distribution Units (PDUs), DataBar systems, and cable assemblies. This is a hands-on manufacturing floor role centered on process development, production support, and continuous improvement — not a product design position. Ideal candidates will have strong manufacturing experience, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties:
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products Create and maintain assembly instructions, process documentation, and work procedures Analyze workflow, labor utilization, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency Support new product introductions by identifying opportunities for process optimization Serve as the first point of escalation for manufacturing and assembly-related issues on the production floor Troubleshoot assembly problems and implement corrective actions alongside production teams Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Test Engineering, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges Monitor product quality and manufacturing performance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and operational costs for management planning Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and workflow enhancements Train and support production personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or engineering support experience without a degree Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Basic familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) for viewing and interpreting drawings Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment Experience with process improvements, workflow optimization, and lean manufacturing Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
