Job Description
What you will be doing The Automation Engineer designs and implements industrial control systems, provides change control, troubleshoots automated equipment, modifies existing control systems, and supports customer projects from beginning to end, including: wiring control systems and sensors, software development/configurations, SCADA development, creating diagrams, PLC, and other technical areas. Program and optimize industrial robots and PLCs to support production needs. Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related equipment issues alongside maintenance staff. Lead and support continuous improvement projects to increase automation efficiency and uptime. Design or modify mechanical and control systems for new or existing equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, production, engineering) to implement automation upgrades and maintenance programs. Support installation and commissioning of new automated systems. Create and maintain documentation for equipment, programs, and procedures. What will make you successful? Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related. (required) 3+ years of hands on experience with PLC programming (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable systems) (required) 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or mechanical engineering. (required) Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and practices, including smart automation, real-time data analytics, and interconnected manufacturing systems. (preferred)
Pay:
