Job Description:
Manufacturing Process Engineer - Direct Hire Near Morristown / Kodak, TN A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to build a long-term career in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment-with clear paths into leadership and advanced engineering roles .
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$60,000 - $70,000 (based on experience) Performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Career growth and leadership development programs
Position Overview:
This role will support manufacturing operations by improving processes, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize efficiency and support new product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and improve CNC machining and automated manufacturing processes Troubleshoot production issues related to equipment, tooling, and cycle time Assist with new product launches, process development, and capital projects Work with PLC-controlled equipment and robotic systems (Fanuc experience a plus) Drive continuous improvement efforts (lean manufacturing, kaizen, waste reduction) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role (automotive preferred) Exposure to CNC machining, automation, or robotics is highly desirable Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Eagerness to learn and grow into leadership roles Why This Opportunity?
