Memphis, TN Job Details 9 days ago Qualifications 3D modeling software 3D modeling for product design 3D modeling Full Job Description Our client, located in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Expert Transformer Design Engineer to join their team. They are a leading manufacturer in the electric power line industry and are in need of a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer. Job Description As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of new products for the electric utility market, as well as managing engineering activities for existing products.
Your duties will include:
Developing new product designs, drawings, and specifications Evaluating and recommending specifications to ensure products meet requirements Reviewing proposed product changes Conducting feasibility, functional, and quality testing Managing prototype development and testing Facilitating engineering drawing changes Writing test reports Collaborating with engineering staff to meet project milestones Providing technical support to Field Sales personnel Job Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: A BSEE or equivalent degree 5-10 years of engineering experience Familiarity with 3D modeling software Strong communication skills Preferred qualifications include experience in the electric utility product line, working in a manufacturing environment, proficiency in 3D modeling software (preferably SolidWorks or ProE), and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
