Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer I Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in medical device manufacturing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities + Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. + Create arrangements for machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout. + Develop sequences of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, affecting product performance. + Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions. + Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans. + Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for quality assurance. + Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and explore related techniques. + Provide guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. + Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations. + Deliver R D systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation. + Identify, define, and address problems that are not immediately evident, making minor changes to systems and processes as necessary. + Communicate primarily with internal contacts within the immediate group to gather, confirm, and convey information. Essential Skills + Proficiency in SolidWorks, SAP, AutoCAD, Autodesk, and BOM (Bill of Material). + Experience in blueprint reading and bill of materials creation. + Process engineering experience, preferably for product final packaging. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering is a plus). + Ability to learn, be developed, and engage in self-development. Work Environment This position is based onsite, working with various spine products in a medical device manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
