Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role will be working in Aerospace Manufacturing. In this role, you will focus on optimizing processes, supporting production teams, conducting root-cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards. We seek a candidate with 3-5 years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with
AS9100, ISO
9001, and aerospace manufacturing practices. Responsibilities + Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality. + Provide daily engineering support to operators and technicians, resolving technical issues and minimizing downtime. + Lead investigations using tools such as 5‑Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, and corrective/preventive actions. + Create and maintain engineering drawings, work instructions, process sheets, and change notices. + Ensure processes and documentation meet
AS9100, ISO
9001, and customer-specific aerospace requirements. + Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and waste-reduction initiatives across the facility. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. + 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred). + Mechanical aptitude and understanding/ability to assemble parts and components. + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and engineering fundamentals. + Experience with root-cause analysis, process development, and production support. + Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in aerospace manufacturing. + Working knowledge of AS9100 and
ISO 9001
quality management systems. + Familiarity with special processes (e.g., machining, composites, heat treat, coatings). + Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
