Job Description

Join Our Team Nicepak is looking for a Manager of Continuous Improvement to help drive performance and efficiency across our Smyrna manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead initiatives that improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operations using Lean manufacturing principles. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with significant time spent on the production floor working directly with teams to deliver measurable results. What You'll Do Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line performance, efficiency, and OEE (target ~70%) Identify and eliminate waste and bottlenecks using Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban) Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Train, coach, and develop employees to build a culture of continuous improvement Manage multiple projects from concept through implementation aligned with safety, quality, cost, and service goals Analyze performance, conduct capacity studies, and implement productivity improvements Track results and provide regular updates to leadership Serve as a change leader , driving engagement and accountability across the plant What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred) 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (CPG experience preferred) Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Proven ability to lead projects and influence teams at all levels Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) is a plus Work Environment 80-85% of time on the production floor Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures Requires standing, walking, bending, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Why Nicepak?
