Job Summary:
Supports production teams by optimizing processes, improving quality, and assisting with equipment layout or troubleshooting.
Major Accountabilities:
Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying bottlenecks, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
Documentation & Standards:
Update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs.
Production Support:
Troubleshoot equipment, support new product launches, and assist with assembly line setups.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Tools & Layout:
Assist with CAD design for fixtures, tooling, or plant layout changes
Qualification:
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, 5S, and Lean concepts is often preferred
Health & Safety:
Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company Job Type - Intern
