Job Description
A leading trading firm in Austin is seeking a senior engineer to own manufacturing test for PCBAs used in production trading hardware. You decide what gets tested, how it gets tested, and whether results are trustworthy. You build fixtures, write test code, support factories, and close coverage gaps. If something escapes, it's your problem to root‑cause and fix. DFT / DFM
feedback into schematics and layouts: Travel to supplier sites as needed during NPI and ramp Required experience BS in EE, CE, or equivalent experience 3+ years building and deploying manufacturing PCBA tests Strong Python skills for test automation and data handling Comfortable working from datasheets, schematics, and register maps ECAD experience (Altium, Cadence, Mentor, or similar) Hands‑on debug with scopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers Direct experience working with contract manufacturers Nice to have (not required) FPGA bring‑up experience or basic RTL familiarity C/C++ for embedded or test utilities High‑speed digital debug (clocks, SERDES, power sequencing, SI/PI issues) SolidWorks or mechanical familiarity for fixture coordination
