Hydraulic Service Tech

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems within manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic equipment, supporting production efficiency and safety. Duties Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. The majority of the work will be pre-delivery testing using checklists we developed. Maybe 20% of the time will be troubleshooting customers machine Issues. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues accurately. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize hydraulic system performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in technical sales by providing expert advice on hydraulic components and system upgrades when needed. Follow all safety protocols related to industrial mechanics. Support emergency repairs in the field ensuring minimal downtime while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Strong hydraulic knowledge - specifically excavators, skid steers forklifts, telehandlers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Field service experience working with manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery is highly desirable. Military background or experience is considered an asset due to discipline and technical training background.
