Job Description
Job Overview We are actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire, permanent position near Bushland, TX. This role works directly with machining operations, process development, quality control, and product manufacturing. Candidates will be trained on CNC setup, inspection, and manufacturing process improvement. Responsibilities Support CNC machining operations and manufacturing processes Assist with process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment and support quality control activities Assist with CNC machine setup, tooling, and process validation Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput Document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering changes Support new product introduction and manufacturing projects Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Familiarity with precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications CNC machining, setup, or programming experience Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360 CAM Machine shop, manufacturing, internship, or co-op experience Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing best practices Experience supporting process improvement or quality initiatives #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
