This high-impact role combines hands-on manufacturing engineering expertise with daily team supervision, ensuring that safety, quality, and output targets are consistently exceeded while directly linking engineering improvements to measurable business results. Scope of Impact
Operations & Process Engineering:
Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production methods. Optimize tooling, fixturing, and equipment to increase throughput, minimize downtime, and reduce variation. Frontline Team Leadership:
Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback to an assigned production team. Dynamically plan and allocate labor to meet production schedules while managing team training, safety compliance, and annual performance appraisals. Continuous Improvement & ROI:
Champion a culture of safety and zero-defect quality. Lead Kaizen activities and leverage Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC) to drive cost-reduction initiatives and present data-driven updates to cross-functional teams. Profile of Excellence Technical Toolbelt:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering field is required. Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is highly preferred. Continuous Improvement Mindset:
1-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering. Ambitious recent graduates with a strong drive to learn are highly encouraged to apply. Must possess a strong foundational understanding of Lean principles and PFMEA activities. Leadership Capabilities:
Prior supervisory or leadership experience (e.g., Team Lead, Shift Supervisor, or Project Leader) is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively guide, motivate, and manage shop-floor personnel. Business-Driven Focus:
Ability to articulate specific, past examples of process improvements and clearly connect those technical changes back to tangible business outcomes (e.g., cost savings, scrap reduction, or efficiency gains). Legal & Compliance Summary Work Authorization:
