is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing performance through process optimization, equipment improvement, and production system stabilization. This role focuses on eliminating chronic production losses and improving overall efficiency (OEE, cycle time, throughput).. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in manufacturing/production and/or warehouse operations, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in computer software.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify production bottlenecks and system losses Lead line balancing and takt time optimization Improve throughput, efficiency, and flow Analyze equipment downtime and failure modes Develop and implement equipment/process improvement solutions Work with maintenance on reliability improvements Lead cross-functional improvement projects (Lean / Kaizen) Reduce scrap, rework, and variation Standardize work and production methods Monitor OEE, downtime, cycle time, yield Perform root cause analysis for chronic issues Build improvement action plans based on data Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics Support production team in implementing process changes Validate improvements with Quality team
Qualifications:
3-7 years manufacturing engineering experience Strong experience in production environment (not office-only CI) Equipment/process troubleshooting experience Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge preferred Strong data analysis + hands-on problem solving ability
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
