Manufacturing Engineer

Optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and labor utilization to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and resolve production issues. Job Requirements Experience coordinating process control objectives and activities to resolve production problems and reduce cost Experience drafting and designing layouts for equipment, materials, and workspaces to improve efficiency Experience studying operation sequences, material flow, cell layouts, and project information to identify and eliminate waste Experience developing manufacturing methods and labor utilization standards Experience with manufacturing processes such as assembly, piping, and wiring Knowledge of technology and materials used in assembly, piping, and wiring processes Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies Knowledge of SAP manufacturing software Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other drafting software Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Preferred Skills Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification Experience in production optimization Experience training manufacturing personnel on process methods and standards Experience improving cell layouts and material flow in a production environment Job Responsibilities Coordinate process control objectives and activities to resolve production problems and minimize cost Draft and design equipment, material, and workspace layouts to maximize efficiency Analyze operation sequences, material flow, cell layouts, and project data to identify and eliminate waste Develop manufacturing methods and labor utilization standards to reduce time and material waste Support optimization of assembly, piping, and wiring processes Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods to production operations Use SAP and drafting software to support manufacturing planning, analysis, and documentation Train production teams on manufacturing processes, methods, and standards
