Job Description

Manufacturing Process Engineer x3 Forney, Texas 2x Days position and 1x Nights (Monday-Thursday) $90,000 - $115,000 Industrial Automation Manufacturing The role is heavily focused on process optimization, manufacturing engineering support, continuous improvement, automation, and cross-functional collaboration within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment Key Responsibilities Optimizing manufacturing process yield, efficiency, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives Developing, maintaining, and validating manufacturing process data for new and existing products/equipment Creating and updating work instructions and manufacturing documentation Supporting New Product Development (NPD), including concept evaluation, prototyping, testing, and process validation Working with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews Identifying and implementing new electronic assembly and manufacturing capabilities Designing fixtures and tooling while coordinating with suppliers Supporting engineering prototypes and first article builds while identifying process improvements Collaborating with Quality Engineering to resolve manufacturing-related customer quality issues Leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities for manufacturing/process issues Supervising and supporting operator training in semi-automated manufacturing environments Driving process automation and supporting equipment such as PLCs, robots, CNCs, and AGCs Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience within a production environment Strong experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and production lines Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
