Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for manufacturing process design, project management, process validation, system integration, production layouts, equipment efficiency, and regulated process compliance. Job Requirements Engineering degree required Manufacturing engineering experience Project management experience Process validation experience IQ, OQ, and PQ experience System integration experience Manufacturing process design experience Experience designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts Experience with assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, or material handling Experience designing plant equipment layouts for efficient production flow Experience developing sequences of operations and fabrication procedures Experience adapting machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions Experience incorporating inspection and test requirements into production plans Experience ensuring processes and procedures comply with regulations Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Six Sigma certification SPC experience DOE experience Minitab experience Experience developing manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control Experience supporting product quality through equipment, tool, and process improvements Experience providing manufacturing guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and specification requirements Job Responsibilities Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts Develop production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling Design machine arrangements within plant facilities to support efficient and productive layouts Define operation sequences and procedures for fabrication of tools, equipment, and related production functions Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans Inspect machinery, equipment, and tool performance to verify efficiency Investigate production problems, process deficiencies, and equipment issues Initiate corrective actions to support product quality Develop manufacturing processes that support statistical process control Develop SPC techniques as needed Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements Recommend manufacturing techniques that best utilize equipment and production capabilities Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with regulatory requirements
