This role bridges design engineering , manufacturing , and customer requirements . NPI Test Development & Readiness Develop, validate, and optimize test processes , test plans , and test fixtures for new products. Review design documentation (schematics, BOM, test specs) to ensure testability (DFT) . Participate in prototype builds , capturing issues and driving corrective actions. 2. Test Equipment & Automation Set up, debug, and qualify ATE (Automated Test Equipment) , ICT, functional testers, RF testers, or custom fixtures. Work with vendors to design or modify test fixtures for new product builds. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Design Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , Quality , Program Management , and Customer Engineering . Provide technical input during NPI reviews , FAI , and customer audits . 4. Yield, Failure Analysis & Optimization Analyze test data to identify yield issues, false failures, and process gaps. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions . Improve test coverage , cycle time , and OEE . Qualifications 1 plus year experience as Test Automation Engineer/ Test Engineer Manufacturing or Automotive or EMS Industry experience is a must
