Job Description

Yoh has an exciting, contract opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Autonomous Technology client in Frisco, TX . $25-33/hr Responsibilities Support fabrication and assembly activities for advanced composite aircraft structures and prototype airframes. Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, production documentation, and process flows to support repeatable manufacturing. Partner with design engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturability and ensure build requirements are met. Use CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or similar platforms to support assembly planning, visuals, and process design. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions related to production issues, defects, and process inefficiencies. Help ensure manufacturing processes align with aerospace quality standards, internal procedures, and applicable compliance requirements. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline; candidates currently pursuing a degree may also be considered. Experience with large-scale product assembly, including fastening, drilling, and structural assembly processes. Proficiency with CAD software such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools. Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and the ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-security aerospace or advanced manufacturing environment. Understanding of composite or metallic aircraft component fabrication, trimming, drilling, fastening, and bonding preferred. Knowledge of composite layup, curing, bonding methods, PCBAs, EWIS, or other electronic hardware preferred.
