You will be the Production Senior Manager (Level 6) for the GMLRS ER
Production team. Our team is responsible for managing all program aspects related to Production Operations/Manufacturing, with an emphasis on design for producibility and positioning products for full life cycle success. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Senior Manager (Level 6) you will be responsible for leading and driving the achievement of highly producible solutions and scalable manufacturing for future production teams. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Manage program aspects related to Production Operations/Manufacturing across multiple sites. Integrate cross‑functional strategies across Precision Fires and Tactical Missiles lines of business. Coordinate strategy across all manufacturing and support locations. Lead a large matrixed production operations organization, including Manufacturing Engineering and PP&C. Ensure cost, schedule, and quality targets are met for GMLRS ER

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications:
Must have the basic skills required of a production operations manager. Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance. Possess appropriate political acumen to communicate persuasively with a variety of customers (Project Office, Program Office and Senior Management). Strong communication skills. Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence. A clear understanding of the production processes. A history of exceptional performance within Production Operations Management on large Production and/or Developmental Programs. Desired Skills:
A background knowledge of Precision Fires program and manufacturing experience. Manufacturing experience with both electrical and mechanical assembly. Related professional level career experience in Production Operations leadership experience. Experience in Development Programs and transitioning from development to production. Program execution with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership. Experience in capacity & capital planning. Understanding and wide application of assembly and Test methods. First Unit Flow planning & execution. Manufacturing & Test Statement of Work. Proposal development experience. Experience with Make-Buy generation / approval. Experience in the design for manufacturing and design to cost. Experience in processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling. CAM Certification or cost analysis experience. Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
