1st Shift Drive High-Impact Engineering Projects in a World-Class Manufacturing Environment We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical capital projects across processing, packaging, automation, utilities, and infrastructure while working in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. What You'll Do:
As a key member of the Plant Manufacturing Engineering team, you will lead capital projects that support operational growth, efficiency, safety, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage small, medium, and large-scale capital projects from initiation to completion.
Lead projects involving:
Processing systems High-speed packaging equipment Utilities and infrastructure Facility upgrades and expansions New product launches Coordinate contractors, vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional plant teams. Develop project scopes, budgets, feasibility studies, and technical specifications. Oversee commissioning, startup, and project handoff to operations and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, OSHA, FDA, energy, and sustainability standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Support strategic planning for packaging, processing, layouts, material handling, and utilities.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related Engineering field. 3-5 years of engineering/project experience in manufacturing environments. Experience managing capital projects and plant engineering initiatives. Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and equipment design.
Technical Skills:
High-speed packaging systems. Integrated automation & controls. Project management methodologies. Auto
CAD & MS
Project. Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
Dairy or food manufacturing experience.
PMO / 3A
standards knowledge. Six Sigma, TQM, or Continuous Improvement experience. OSHA and FDA compliance experience.
