• Leveraged Continuous Improvement Engineer

• Position Overview:

• The Leveraged Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for leading continuous improvement projects across multiple manufacturing sites and providing technical expertise in areas such as: polymer manufacturing, film casting, high temperature lamination and numerous converting operations such as coating, heat treatment, and extensive slitting operations

• Responsibilities:

• + Lead the resolution of multiple, complex projects with high level of autonomy and accountability.

Projects will focus on problems impacting product quality, yields, cost, or capacity of the manufacturing operations. + Support scale-up of new products across the manufacturing sites. + Develop technical expertise in common manufacturing processes and leverage across the sites. + Make recommendations to Area and Technical managers to improve organizational capability and production performance. + Mentor junior engineers to develop their technical capabilities and contributions. + Assist with the recruiting and hiring of new engineers into the organization.

• Skills required:
• + Demonstrated expertise of mechanical and chemical processes and methodologies applicable to a manufacturing operation.

+ Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills. + Demonstrated strong teamwork and networking skills. + Leadership capability and the ability to coach, influence and negotiate. + Ability to handle multiple tasks and a high volume workload with shifting and competing priorities. + Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral). Flexible/motivated self-starter. The position is

• located at Circleville, OH or Pasadena, TX
• . Projects will be focused at the four ICS Films and Laminates manufacturing locations: Circleville, OH, Pasadena, TX (Bayport), Towanda, PA and Hsinchu, Taiwan.

• Qualifications:

• + Bachelor's Degree required Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. + Minimum of 10 years operations or manufacturing technical experience required. + Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required; Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.

• Additional Information:

• + This position may require the employee to
• travel 25%
• of the time depending on project location.
