MUST HAVES
4-5+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements and putting them into a sequences plan/build plan in a manufacturing or aerospace environment Previous Boeing experience Boeing Software experience (WIRS, MES
CI, REDARS, IVT
) ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) or equivalent shop floor issue‑resolution experience working directly with mechanics Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Understand and navigate engineering drawings and BOM (bill or materials)
PREFERRED
Boeing Software experience: Gold ESP Experience compiling tools lists for projects Experience annotating 3D graphics Structures or floor experience (mechanic or quality background) Bachelor's degree in engineering
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking Electrical Manufacturing Engineers to support a large aerospace client in San Antonio, TX (100% onsite). This role focuses on translating electrical designs into executable production build plans while supporting real-time issue resolution on the shop floor.
Daily Responsibilities:
Support ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) by working directly with mechanics to resolve electrical issues during production Develop electrical build plans and sequencing to support production execution Create and support OSIPs (Out of Sequence Installation Plans) as needed for rework and recovery Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs to ensure builds are accurate and producible Partner with Design Engineering and manufacturing teams to drive build readiness Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, and quality in a fast-paced environment Apply lean principles to improve manufacturing efficiency
Pay:
$55.00 - $70.00 per hour
