What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Automation Technology Instructor include, but are not limited to: Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings. Supporting student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning. Ensuring your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations. Partnering with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience. Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness. Actively participating in program development, accreditation efforts, employer advisory committees, and campus-wide events. Your Impact Matters You'll be a key part of helping students: Master essential technical and professional skills. Successfully complete their training. Earn industry credentials or licensure. Launch into meaningful employment in their field. You won't just be teaching—you'll be shaping futures.

Successful candidates will have:
Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. A Two-Year certificate or associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
Experience:
At least three years of hands-on experience in manufacturing before joining the position.
Certifications:
Must have all necessary SACA certifications or be willing to get them within a year of employment.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and circuits.
Professional Development:
Commitment to continuous learning and ongoing professional development in manufacturing and/or education.
Teaching Experience:
