Job Description:
Akkodis is recruiting for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer for an aeropsace manufacturer in the St. George, UT area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $50 an hour to $60 an hour depending on education, experience and location. This role will support in driving operations through impeccable documentation for successful completion of high-quality hardware, also bear responsibility for the process's creation supporting the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. Maintain effective communication on all aspects of the program among the project team to ensure all goals, tasks, and deliverables are understood clearly throughout the entire program. Oversees day to day floor activities, a strong leader in operations. Lead efforts in design for manufacturing, lean manufacturing practices. Support key decisions by working cross-functionally across departments to achieve program objectives. Lead the manufacturing activities through creative and clear processes that result in high quality hardware assembly, integration, and test. Designs tools and machines used to manufacture products. Reviews production program equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacement. Solid Works, AutoCAD or Solid Edge Experience preferred. working knowledge of GD&T, stack up tolerances, able to read and interrupt prints and schematics.
