Manufacturing Planner (Direct Hire)

Salary:

$62,400/YR Overview Saxon is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Manufacturing Planner for a direct hire opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This role is responsible for developing and releasing detailed work instructions by translating engineering data into clear, production-ready documentation for aerospace manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed work instructions from engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements Develop accurate manufacturing routings, including sequence, labor, and materials Support production teams (Assembly, CNC, Molding) to ensure proper use of work instructions Review and improve existing documentation and processes for efficiency and accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to work instructions and production flow Track KPIs related to documentation, audits, and process validation Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and program management teams Support transition to digital work instructions Qualifications High school diploma required; technical or post-secondary education preferred 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Experience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools Strong technical writing, organization, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of AS9100 and Lean/Kaizen principles is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Up to $650/month employer contribution toward medical (some plans 100% covered for employees) 401(k) with company match (up to 4%) 10 paid holidays Vacation and sick leave Employee referral bonus program Follow us on : https://www.linkedin.com/company/saxon-aerospace-usa Visit our careers page for additional job openings: https://www.saxonaerospace.com/careers About Saxon Aerospace US Inc.: We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
