Job Description

- Manufacturing Engineer, Repair & Overhaul Overview Triumph is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support our Repair & Overhaul team for Summer 2026. This role provides hands‑on experience for students pursuing Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, offering exposure to real aerospace production processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Support and maintain visual cell display infrastructure to improve communication and workflow visibility.
- Assist with operations administrative tasks supporting daily production activities.
- Contribute to the 5S program to keep work areas organized, efficient, and audit ready.
- Participate in safety initiatives and help reinforce safe work practices.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve process flow.
- Assist with manufacturing workflow documentation, updates, and optimization.
- Provide support for material-handling improvements and process standardization. Qualifications Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
- Pursuing a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and waste reduction methodologies.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on process efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced production environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Must provide steel toed/safety shoes.
Pay Range:
$18.00- $26.
