Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC, allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining. We are seeking an Engineering Design Drafter to join our team in Sturtevant, WI, supporting our Wisconsin-based subsidiary as a Cornell employee. In this role, you will contribute to exciting new product development by creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of eddy current drive, clutch, and brake components. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented engineers and a skilled manufacturing team.

$27.00 - $35.00 (DOE)
What You'll Do:
Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for eddy current drive, clutch, and brake components under engineer supervision Develop detailed assembly and component drawings, including manufacturing and assembly instructions Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part records in SolidWorks, PDM, and/or ERP systems Prepare detailed drawings and sketches for parts using various manufacturing methods (casting, machining, fabrication, winding, etc.) Produce assembly layouts to ensure accurate, interference-free builds for internal and external teams Select appropriate standard hardware and ensure accurate BOM representation Support product development and cost-reduction efforts by designing, fabricating, and assembling mechanical components and assemblies Prepare Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and other engineering documentation as needed
What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent technical training, or 3+ years of design/drafting experience (or a combination of both) Understanding of strength of materials and familiarity with ISO standards Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software Ability to create 3D models and corresponding 2D drawings, from simple parts to complex geometries Working knowledge of 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD or CADkey (preferred) We offer many company benefits: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at two weeks per year 401K Plan - Up to 7.5% (3% employer contribution and up to another 4.5% employer matching) as based on your contribution thereafter: immediate full vesting Two medical plans: a PPO and an HDHP with an HSA Dental/Vision coverage Pet Insurance Company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Two weeks of paid Parental Leave Company-Paid Life Insurance & AD&D, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Additional Voluntary Life Insurance & AD&D Supplemental health insurance: hospital, accident, and critical illness insurance
