CNC Engineering Tech Entegee - 3.7 Sturtevant, WI Job Details Full-time | Contract $36 - $42 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Commuter assistance Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Tooling Time-series studies Process design Technical support CNC tooling Fixture assembly Milling SolidWorks Manufacturing Process engineering Lathe Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on CNC Engineering Technician to support production and engineering operations through process improvement initiatives, tooling and fixture design, manufacturing support, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC machining knowledge, experience supporting production floor activities, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities Conduct time studies and analyze production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime Design and support holding fixtures, gauging, and tooling for CNC manufacturing operations Assist with new tooling trials and implementation activities Create and maintain documentation for layouts, tooling changes, and manufacturing processes Drive continuous improvement projects on and off the production floor Provide technical support for CNC machining and manufacturing operations Process approved card changes, ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) Train production personnel and co-workers on manufacturing processes and procedures Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues Maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
2008 quality standards Perform additional engineering and production support duties as assigned Qualifications Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Tool & Die, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in CNC manufacturing or engineering support Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling applications Experience with tooling, fixture, and gauging design Tool and die experience preferred Experience processing ECO and ECR documentation General knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing documentation Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Preferred Skills Experience conducting production time studies Experience supporting new tooling trials Experience documenting layouts and engineering changes Familiarity with
ISO 9001
2008 standards and compliance requirements Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience
