Job Description The Design Engineer is responsible for component and system design, detailing and bill of material creation. The Designer collaborates closely Design and Project Engineers to create detailed technical drawings and documentation used in the production of parts, assemblies, and equipment. The designer ensures that all documentation meets internal design and manufacturing standards, supports efficient production, and reflects the latest design revisions. Job Duties Design Engineer for Mobile Heavy Equipment Attachment Systems; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical Create and maintain component and assembly models and drawings Reporting on the status of design projects in development Bill of Material maintenance within manufacturing software (ERP System) Manage tasks assigned by Project Engineers Complete tasks required for changes in accordance with ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process Work with production and service personnel on as built design updates Education Requirements BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience 0
  • 5 years' experience preferably with heavy equipment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient with SolidWorks Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities at the same time
